Take a proctored exam

If you are taking a class from a remote institution you may need to take a proctored exam. This library offers a proctoring service to the public.

This is how the library's proctoring service works.

  • Proctored Exam schedule must be made in advance with the Library Director.
  • Call or stop in the library to set up a schedule.
  •  We will reserve a computer for the exam for the time needed. It is Very Important to be on time. We reserve the right to cancel the appointment if the student is late for the test.
  • This service is free to current patrons of the Curtis Memorial Library
  • When the schedule is set, the student will be given the information necessary for the Instructor to email class details to the library
  • The Librarian will monitor the student during the test.
  • We currently proctor online tests only. However we will consider written tests depending on the circumstances.
